DEAR SON,

Dear Son, is a choreographic journey through pain, memory and love. Inspired by the story of a family torn apart by war, the work follows a mother, father and their son, separated when the boy leaves for the front. The story opens with a family portrait: an instant suspended in time, full of dreams and promises. In the present, an elderly mother writes a letter to her son whom she continues to hope to see again. In the future, parents resist, living with the memory of what they have lost. Through movement, choreography gives voice to what words fail to express: the immeasurable pain of parents mourning a child and the unbreakable bond of love. Dear Son, invites the audience to reflect on the fragility of life, the wounds left by war and the urgency of building a more compassionate and peaceful world.
