Halfway between a compelling spy thriller and historical investigation, relived with human participation and a touch of caustic Jewish humor, The Nazi hunter tells the story of Simon Wiesenthal, who, after surviving five different death camps, devotes the rest of his life to hunting down those responsible for the Holocaust. The show begins in 2003, in what is ideally the last day of Wiesenthal’s work at the Jewish Documentation Center he founded: before retiring, he retraces by emblematic episodes 58 years of pursuit of Nazi war criminals, responsible for the death of more than 11 million people, including 6 million Jews.
