MEETING WITH THE COMPANY

An elderly couple, Him and Her, is on their way to a funeral.
She is all dressed up, suits and jewelry, He is a mixture between ceremony dress and outing. She wants to go, to arrive early, He does not have the slightest desire. Here they are, Rita and Ambrogio.
Of course they quarrel for a long time but, in the meanwhile, they would also have time to pay homage to the body that is in the next room. But, needless to say, Ambrogio doesn’t want to know.
Why? Of course: because death terrifies him, as it only knows how to terrorize the elderly, indeed would not want to talk about it. Rita wants to talk about it as the elderly, curious, intimidated, resigned and hopeful, do. They will spend an hour and a half Ambrogio escaping from reality and Rita trying to bring him back. An insanely fun and poetic chase. But calm! It takes respect, we are at a ceremony.
