From an epic comic episode lived with Carmelo Bene in 1983 to the geopolitical clash-encounter between Reagan and Gorbachev at the Reykjavík summit in 1986; from the reconstruction after the earthquake in Friuli in 1976 to the restart after the pandemic. Marco Paolini imagines a new album to rethink the pact between theater and spectators, in the show conceived in 2021, further year of suspension of artistic activities after the lockdown of 2020. Each topic, each event are parts, characters, scenes, threads of a story that takes the form of a ballad. Founded on an autobiographical canvas, which sews together old and new stories, the project has been enriched gradually with songs and music, written by Saba Anglana and Lorenzo Monguzzi. Sani! is an expression used to greet the foot of the Alps, in the Piave valley. It is a wish, a blessing, a viaticum. It comes from Salus, summarizes the sense of the theater for this time, a theater that brings together creating bridges.

In this time of drama in brackets not everything depends on the rules, it depends on common sense, courage and trust, it depends on us. By convention, the ticket sold to the theater corresponds to a chair or an armchair; in my opinion it corresponds to a right: to be able to live an experience from inside, not to look at it from outside».
