One has seen and lost everything, the other has yet to discover and learn everything.
The father controls time: he is the calculated time, he knows which way to go, which road to take. Children need time. Time for themselves, time to waste, to give. Children do not think of time as something linear. For them, time is a road full of curves and bends where you can lose yourself to your istincts. They want to subdue time and chase it. A son begs his father to wait, wait, wait ….
