Two pièces for 11 dancers. Starting off with the choreography of Morelli, we follow a story of solitudes and connected souls, full of poetic images that marry beautifully with the compositional richness of the music, intimately linked to its inexhaustible variety. Departing from the scores of George Gershwin and the pictorial suggestions of Edward Hopper. In his work Merola pairs together, almost juxtaposes, scenes whereby we see the desire to live freely jump out and yet watch as daily life often takes the upper hand too.
