The American Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Company is one of the most popular companies on the contemporary scene. Founded by Lou Conte in 1977, it is characterized by the great virtuosity and the incomparable versatility of its dancers, “living archive” of the work of some of the best contemporary choreographers, from Jiri Kylian, to Nacho Duato, from Lynne Taylor-Corbett to Ohad Naharin with the latter creating one of the four pieces in the program, alongside Robyn Mineko Williams, Crystal Pite and Alejandro Cerrudo.
